As a kind of precision CNC servo electronic press, the working principle and characteristics of S-type servo press play an important role in modern industrial manufacturing. This press not only has high precision and high efficiency, but also achieves full monitoring and precise control of the print assembly process through an intelligent control system. So how does the S-type servo press work?

The working principle of the S-type servo press mainly depends on the drive of the servo motor. The servo motor converts the motion and energy of the motor into the precise displacement and pressure output of the print head through a high-precision ball screw. This conversion process is controlled by software programming. The motion process is first transmitted to the CNC application module, then the servo driver drives the servo motor to move, and finally the motion control of the output end is realised through the transmission device.

After the pressure shaft is pressed out, the pressure sensor feeds back the analogue signal via the deformation variable, which is amplified and converted into a digital signal and output to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to realise pressure monitoring. At the same time, the analytical encoder of the servo motor feeds back the position signal to ensure the accuracy of the position control. This closed-loop control system enables the S-type servo press to achieve full process control of press force and press depth during the press assembly process.

One of the characteristics of the S-type servo press is its high versatility, flexibility and intelligence. By using the servo function, the movement curve of the ram is no longer limited to the sinusoidal curve, but can be optimised according to specific process requirements. The linear grating ruler is used to detect the position of the ram, ensuring the high motion control accuracy of the ram during the entire press operation, especially near the bottom dead centre, the accuracy change can be controlled within ±0.01mm. This not only ensures the accuracy and stability of the press closing height during the production process, but also effectively suppresses the appearance of product burrs and prevents the production of defective products.

The S-type servo press also has the advantages of energy saving and noise reduction. By eliminating the flywheel and clutch, the motor rotates only during punching, reducing idle power consumption. In addition, the torque operating mode and hybrid force amplification mechanism of the servo motor enable small motors to exert large forces. According to relevant reports, servo presses save more than 20% energy compared to ordinary presses, and the punching noise is reduced by more than 20dB.

The S-type servo press is also superior in terms of maintenance. Since there are no consumable maintenance parts such as clutch, flywheel, large gear, etc., the amount of lubricating oil is greatly reduced, its structure becomes more concise, and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced.

In addition, the S-type servo press has high-precision pressure control capabilities. By collecting positional pressure data at high speed during the press-fitting process, on-line quality assessment and data information management of precision press-fitting can be achieved. This high-precision pressure control enables the S-type servo press to perform well in situations where precise control of press-fit force and displacement is required, such as automotive parts assembly and electronic parts press-fitting.

In summary, the S-type servo press achieves precise control and highly efficient production of the press-fitting process through the drive of the servo motor and the closed-loop control system. With its advantages of high precision, energy saving, noise reduction and low maintenance cost, the S-type servo press has an important application value in modern industrial manufacturing.
